[Flightgear-devel] Scenemodels Validation Process stalled

Hi

some of you probably know Vic as being our most active validator for the
scenemodels database.
He has reviewed a huge number of scenery contributions since this database
and frontend was invented, has helped our system to grow and improve and
helped many new contributors with his advice. He also contributed many
models by himself.

A while ago I received a message from Vic, telling me that he probably will
no longer be able to perform this task. I really feel sorry for loosing
Vic, he used to be a reliable partner and working with him has always been
a pleasure  for me. The flightgear community ows him a huge "thank you" at
least.

To keep the process going, I am looking for somebody willing to take over
his job.
If you
- are aware of the scenery models guidelines and best practices
- are willing to handle from zero to a few dozen e-mails a day
- know how to work with the scenemodels front-end at
https://scenery.flightgear.org/
- are able to repeat the same message again and again to new contributors

Please feel free to self nominate yourself or recommend a fellow scenery
contributor.
