I've added a small general guide in the wiki
(http://wiki.flightgear.org/Compositor#Porting_and_developing_Effects)
to porting Effects to the Compositor. I haven't added how to add
support for shadows yet but I'll add it soon. Feel free to ask
anything if you need any help.
