As for the Italian language, I've just pushed the required changes to
next, feel free to cherry-pick them for the release branch.

They are substantially complete with the exception of some screenshots
and a few details about translating the XLIFF files with Qt Linguist
(which could be useful for new contributors who are not used to the tool).
