[Flightgear-devel] Potential error in MP Carriers: TACAN range too short

Hi

After many views but no response in the Forum I guess my issue with too
short TACAN range of MP carriers is real. And it seems to me e.g.
Richard is looking into carriers currently.

When I run the Vinson demo locally, I get > 25 nm range of TACAN
consistently. However when I run the Vinson over MP I only get a TACAN
range of between 5 and 6 nm. I have set

--prop:/sim/multiplay/visibility-range-nm=60

both on the computer running the MP-carrier and on the computer with
the F-14B. IMHO this has nothing to do with the F-14B, as I get the
same short range with e.g. the Bourrasque. And in the pilot's list etc.
there is no problem with visibility. I run a recent NEXT version on
Windows and Linux.
