Well! That sounds great! Too bad I haven't found the time to fire up FG for months now (just once for an orbit, or rather half an orbit...). I've seen your screenies in the forums and I love the idea! Some thoughts have come up anyway: Is 150km range enough? Seing this Iceland vulcano, it easily beats 150km in terms of affecting the weather. What about these funny effects? I see some future for your ALS cockpit effects as well. Like these discharges flying near sonic speed through ash clouds. You know what I mean? See the first paragraph of the following: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Airways_Flight_9#Accident There's also some "Mayday" documentary on that, though I didn't find it on a quick search. Maybe something nice to add to the ALS cockpit effects suite. Maybe not worth it - I don't know... Just a thought. Anyway, in one week I'll start up on a new job. That means I'll have some time to spare then! I can't wait to catch up on what has happened in the virtual world of FG! CYa then/there!
