Okay,


Looks like this error has been fixed in 2017.3.0 and in the release candidate.  I no longer get local file error.


I have also installed the release candidate on a system that never had FG and all install as expected, downloaded

a few aircraft, however my wife's system really struggles with running it. Which I expected, it's a low powered system.

RC works fine for me.  I should clean up my dev system.


If you fixed this thanks, if you did not do anything ..... well I Hate Windows .... ;-0

Thanks for the info. This was exactly the issue back with some older versions, I am confused why it’s still occurring for you. Oh well, will test myself on Monday.
