Yes I can create folders and files in the C:\Users\Ron\Documents\FlightGear\Aircraft\org.flightgear.fgaddon Folder here is the link to the nvidia - just a forum topic https://forums.geforce.com/default/topic/503260/nvidia-drivers-account-unknown-issue/ The log file is here. https://1drv.ms/u/s!Am7yhLBF1vbkgTw-4gcz6IbVjYCt [https://r1.res.office365.com/owa/prem/images/dc-generic_40.png]<https://1drv.ms/u/s!Am7yhLBF1vbkgTw-4gcz6IbVjYCt> fgfs_0.log<https://1drv.ms/u/s!Am7yhLBF1vbkgTw-4gcz6IbVjYCt> Shared via OneDrive notepadd++ line 520625 shows permission denied. I did not specify this folder anywhere: C:\Users\Ron\Documents\FlightGear\Aircraft\org.flightgear.fgaddon usual permissions: administrator group - full control, read, write, modify, etc. Ron - my id full same as admin System group - full AND .... one I don't know about. Unknown Account - read, execute only. Can you confirm that creating a folder / file manually inside C:\Users\Ron\Documents\FlightGear\Aircraft\org.flightgear.fgaddon Works from Windows explorer as your normal user? I expect it must but just making sure. Googling this - seems to point to an nvidia issue - I would be extremely surprised if that were the case, can you point me the article / pages suggesting that? I say this because a graphics driver shouldn’t be touching the filesystem code at all. What is more likely is that some internal error is occurring in FG, but being reported as a permissions issue by the update code. if you could email me the fgfs.log file for a run where the update fails, it would help.
