Hi,

I have just pushed a patch to SimGear and included a bunch of debug
messages in the suspicious loop.
(They only pop up with --log-level=debug - also add --log-class=terrasync
to keep output sane)

Maybe this shows what's going wrong.

What really bugs me is that this code runs perfectly stable on OSX and
Linux and only seem to crash on Windows.
