In my previous email one of the error messages looks suspicious

nasal:5:..\..\..\src\Main\util.cxx:197:Access denied to 
C:/Users/alan/AppData/Roaming/flightgear.orgno.log

There is a "\" missing and it should read flightgear.org\no.log

This was a cut and paste from the log, and was not a typo on my part.
