Sorry, my fault, I will disable CrahRpt for nightly-builds since I suspect the volume of data it will generate is too large for me to deal with. > > * half of the time FG simply crashes upon startup, the other half it runs fine - I need to locate the log files before I'm able to say just why this happens, but it's exceedingly weird No idea about this one, very weird as you say. > > * the tooltip 'mouse is now controlling flight controls' never goes away, it just remains glued to the screen till it gets replaced by another message - since it only seems to happen for this particular tooltip, I can work around by pause/unpause and the message of pause replaces flight controls and then disappears properly. But this isn't a long-term solution... Repeating a request that has been made before - I would like to see none of these tooltips - can we have an option to deactivate all of them? Someone else reported this, I didn’t get a chance to look yet. The ‘mouse controlling flight controls’ message is not a tooltip but a popup (like the ‘paused’ and view change messages). The popups have always existed, although the Canvas ones are more prominent than the old PUI ones. You can control the visibility of both tooltips and popups from the relevant checkboxes of the ‘view options’ dialog. However, it would be useful if you could spend some time looking at why the popup never goes away, since it’s strange indeed. (And not what I see on my Windows build) Regards, James |
