Status: New Owner: ---- New issue 393 by d....@ma...: Vertical speed indicator uses real time, not simulation time http://code.google.com/p/flightgear-bugs/issues/detail?id=393 *What steps will reproduce the problem?* 1. Begin a flight with the C172P 2. Establish a 500 FPM descent 3. Increase the "Simulation Rate" in the "Time Settings" dialog to 4 4. Observe that the VSI (after a lag) indicates a 2000 FPM descent *What is the expected output? What do you see instead?* I expected the see the VSI continue to indicate 500 FPM descent, since the aircraft is still descending at 500' per simulated minute. Other gauges, e.g. the airspeed indicator, continue to indicate with respect to simulated time, which is to say my indicated airspeed did not also quadruple. *What FlightGear version are you using (when using GIT version, please mention date)?* 2.0.0 (according to /data/version is this the correct place to look?) *What operating system and graphics card?* Windows 7, ATI Radeon 5570 |
