if you want to access TempNode often in your nasal, use

var myTempNode = props.globals.getNode("/sim/temp/TempNode", 1);
myTempNode.setIntValue( 50 );


or if you just set the node's value once:

setprop( "/sim/temp/TempNode", 50 );
