The instrumentation is metric in Russian aircrafts -- sure you weren't doing
just 70 km/h? ;)
(no flaps, 900 mmHg --> takeoff at 110 km/h, climbout at 140 km/h, works
for me anyway.)

I suspect the scaled down propeller (to make the starter working) may have a
price in thrust...
