I never had (noticed) any jumps with the old code (SDL), but the new patch was jumping all over the place when it didn't crash. I'm not disputing that there were problems that needed fixing though, since I did see some wierd stuff on Cygwin builds IIRC.

I know, I know, but I don't have a -g version handy at the moment. Recompile probably won't finish tonight...
