Note that if you are compiling your own version of FGFS you can change the default behavior of the autopilot to be 'less realistic' but IMHO better suited for 'scenery viewing' and/or GPS controlled, by changing the #define at the bottom of $SRC / Autopilot / newauto.hxx from //#define DEFAULT_AP_HEADING_LOCK FGAutopilot::FG_DG_HEADING_LOCK to #define DEFAULT_AP_HEADING_LOCK FGAutopilot::FG_TRUE_HEADING_LOCK FYI The autopilot will keep a 'constant heading' when compiled with this change Cheers Norman |
