  Thanks to all of you for your help. Finally got all the pieces together
and
  compiled!

  I added you socket test code from your website. Still getting a class
error with
  FGInterface, the buffer (*buf) is private. I seem to recall you mentioning
a
  network.hxx file but the tgz file contained only .am and .cxx files.

  You can't be using th efiles from my site  as I changed the
  private variables to be protected in the files I have there
