I believe you, but reading William Riley's file "How I made scenery for FlightGear -- 7/26/01" took a while and I was afraid there might be half a dozen hidden things and problems not mentioned in the file (e.g. the first difference was that I have a very large gshhs_f.b.bz2 file 67.0= MB which I downloaded before I knew about your GSHHS-Lakes files and I *hope= * this large file will be usefull since getting it took some time). :-) But as soon as I can affort an afternoon I will try to add the rivers int= o the scenery and keep you informed about the results.
