What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Start FG at KATL 08L ALT 1034ft (OK)
2. Position Aircraft On Ground KSFO 10L ALT -1003ft (NG)
3. Position Aircraft On Ground KLAX 25R ALT 96ft (OK)
4. Position Aircraft On Ground KATL 09L ALT -10 (NG)

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Barometric Altitude indication should be the same every time but the indication will be different at every reposition.
Place does not matter. Please repeat the reposition to confirm.
This happens since 2, 3 days before.

What FlightGear version (or GIT date)?
git version Apr09 2012

What operating system and graphics card?
Fedora16 6500GT

This issue has gone by today's (Apr14,2012) update.
And wind, 3D clouds all come back again.
    But Issue#625 comes back also.

I prefer that simple model (Apr09 2012), no cloud, no wind, baro alt error after reposition, rather than abnormal behaviour of #625.

Very likely the same as the reported and fixed issue #740.
