Hi folks, I finally found the time to implement rules management into flap. You can check it out by getting the current source from CVS which I committed today. Next steps are to further implement all "standard" rules before I'm going to release version 0.3. -- Maik Schreiber, IQ Computing http://www.iq-computing.de mailto:in...@iq... |

Hi, flap version 0.2 has just been released. See the changelog for a list of changes. When replying to messages, there are still a number of limitations: - original text will be quoted with '>' prefixes - quoted text has a fixed line length of 75 characters (74 effective because of '>') - you have to manually enter the recipient (ie. the sender of the original message) Also the reply window and all other windows open with rather ugly window positions and dimensions. This will all be fixed in subsequent versions (window attributes will be persistent over sessions). The major change in 0.3 will be to use XML for storing the properties. This change will make things much easier for the upcoming implementation of rules. Hi, I have just released flap 0.1. This is the initial release of flap. So far it has the basic features of connecting to your server, reading your mail and composing a new one. You can also set up multiple transports and identities. Support for attachments and creating new folders will follow in later versions. You can download it by visiting http://flap.sourceforge.net -- Maik Schreiber IQ Computing - http://www.iq-computing.de mailto: in...@iq... |
