The flags don't match some of the languages when the
language is selected from the top right lanaguage
selector. The icon files in the locale folders need
checking and replacing to fix this problem.

    Seems to be fixed now.

    Adding to this:
We need to standardize the flag dimensions: the current
sizes are different for each language flag.

Also, the Spain|Mexico flag should probably be modified - it
isn't evident from first glance what it's supposed to mean -
    mainly the Mexican part.

Yeh, I noticed the Spanish/Mexican flag. As you say, it
isn't clear what it is. I don't think Mexicans will be
insulted by spanish having spain's flag. The English one can
    stay since it is clear...

I've replaced the current flag with the one from the
images/langs directory (renamed old one to icon_(old).png).
However, the new flag is 31x21, while the older one was
    smaller.

This should be fixed by the next released. Overall, flag
    colors/sizes need to be standardized.

Shall I go back and fetch the original flags from the CIA
and then resize them to 32x21 in PNG quality 6?

I fixed the Taiwan flag just then.

That would be good since, coming from one source, all the
flags would "look" the same - same size and same shades of
    color.

I have downloaded all of those CIA flag images - should we
continue using the size of 20x14 pixels or go for something
slightly larger? Given the debate over here
    http://www.firemonger.org//forums/index.php?showtopic=85&st=20
are we even going to continue using flags?
