[Firebird-net-provider] FBCommand.CommandTimeout not setable

This is with 1.5.2
According to the docs I should be able to set CommandTimeout but it raises
the following exception when I try:

A first chance exception of type 'System.NotSupportedException' occurred in
firebirdsql.data.firebird.dll
Additional information: Specified method is not supported.

I have a fix in my local tree yet, but that code is not correct ;) can

[Firebird-net-provider] Disposing FbCommand objects

The error is thrown on the Dispose() method with the
following message: Object reference not set to an
instance of an object. 

Upon further investigation, I have found that this is
because there is no Transaction object in the
FbCommand. If I just put one in there, it works fine.
I did not think that it was necessary for queries to
require transaction objects. Is this expected
behavior?

I know, hasrows need to determine wheter a query returns rows or not but 
without fetch data, and there are now way (know by me at least) for get 
that info in firebird (for select statements, i can return false for non 
query statements)

this has already been brought up (I just started using
firebird yesterday). In any case, I'm porting over
some code to use the firebird .net provider and my
code was something like this:

FbDataReader reader = cmd.ExecuteQuery();
while(reader.Read()) {
  //do stuff
} 

if(!reader.HasRows()) {
   empty = true;
}

using the OleDbDataReader, if the reader has no
records, hasrows returns false. using the Net provider
for Firebird, hasrows ALWAYS returns true, even if I
execute a query which I know has no rows. Of course,
this can be circumvented, but I figure this is
something that needs to be reported.

Well, this is probably a question for Carlos:

Are you interested in source code for a design time CommandBuilder
component?

It was inspired by Delphi's TUpdateSql and is currently implemented as an
SqlCommandBuilder but most of it could be of use for Firebird's provider.

When connected to a SqlDataAdapter component it reads schema info from the
db and saves it as XML in a string property. You can then choose which
fields (changed or all) to include in UPDATE/INSERT and which fields (all,
PkAndRowVer, ...) to use for optimistic locking. You can also specify
whether to refresh records after UPDATE/INSERT.

It comes with a basic testing environment, very few NUnit test, and even
some comments ;-). But testing has been very limited.

The component will be published in a german magazine (dotnetpro) and the
publisher has agreed to make it available to open source projects. I have
also offered it to the mono project.

I have just learned that you (carlos) beat me by 2 weeks - 1.6 incorporates
a CommandBuilderBehaviour property! Let me know if you are interested
despite this.

    of 1.6 don't work too), and on 1.5 i'm don't test...
