Since clisp is in unsupported (and works very well in my brief experience) getting an X interface over would be really useful, bringing yet another language into the fray on the Mac/Unix/Fink platform combo, and allowing a lot more educational and prototyping use within the fink environment,

We had had clx-openmcl in 10.4-unstable; it sat on top of openmcl, which was unmaintained and tagged architecture:powerpc and cited http://article.gmane.org/gmane.lisp.openmcl.devel/1067 as why it wasn't migrated to intel. That was all 7 years ago, so perhaps it's been fixed in a newer release.
