Ah sorry about that, I thought I mentioned that later.  Hmm, it turns out 
I merely suggested the possible version when I stated I installed the 
stable releases of several gnome related packages.  Oops.  :-)

I believe it was the current stable release gnome-libs-1.4.1.1-4, unless 
the stable release changed within the last few weeks.  The date of the 
.info file is a few months old, so if that date can be trusted then it 
probably hasn't changed.
