Simply because the name used for the gnome-trash is not conforming to=20 the freedesktop spec which is used all over gnome for mime types,=20 etc.., especially for the gnome panel which includes the trash and=20 which is handled by Nautilus through gnome-vfs. Anyway, it works for me though as far as deleting files and emptying it=20= are concerned (I think I've modified something somewhere just to get=20 the trash working, but don't remember what and where exactly - maybe=20 some sort of mapping /sym linking with kde where trash works), but not=20= for viewing the contents of the gnome trash, for which I get a "trash:"=20= is not a valid location" warning dialog message.
