Hisashi, I believe that this was true for MacOS >= 14. See <https://github.com/fink/fink-distributions/pull/533> A patch was made to ignore building those two utilities on Intel systems. There are separate packages of macOS 14.0, 14.4, and 15.0. I am not sure why those are not combined into a single build for macOS >= 14.0. Perhaps someone remembers that design choice. But move the file /opt/sw/fink/10.9-libcxx/stable/main/finkinfo/text/texlive-texmf-15.0.info <http://texlive-texmf-15.0.info/> and the corresponding patch files "/opt/sw/fink/10.9-libcxx/stable/main/finkinfo/text/texlive-texmf-luajittex.patch” and "/opt/sw/fink/10.9-libcxx/stable/main/finkinfo/text/texlive-texmf.patch” into your appropriate fink local directory and edit the “Distribution” tag on the info file to be 26.0. Rename the info file "texlive-texmf-x86_64-20240312.info <http://texlive-texmf-x86_64-20240312.info/>" That should work, and I tested it on Intel 26.7 / Xcode 26.6 A little complex, I will try to get a PR this weekend for a more permanent patch. -Scott > On Sep 26, 2026, at 3:39 PM, Hisashi T Fujinaka <ht...@tw...> wrote: > > I'm running 26.7 on an Intel MacBook Pro and I can't get > texlive-nox-base to build.
