I installed dlcompat and when tryint to install octave it seems to work find but at the end I had the next response: In file included from dMatrix.h:36, from CollocWt.h:32, from CollocWt.cc:33: data-conv.h:41: #error "No 2 byte integer type found!" data-conv.h:49: #error "No 4 byte integer type found!" make[2]: *** [CollocWt.o] Error 1 make[1]: *** [liboctave] Error 2 make: *** [all] Error 2 ### make failed, exit code 2 Failed: compiling octave-2.1.35-6 failed So finally it was not installed. Any suggestion? On Tuesday, February 26, 2002, at 03:19 PM, Jens Uwe Noeckel wrote: > Hi - > > I thought this was fixed meanwhile.
