I updated the command-line tools to 11.3.1. This alone did not fix the problem. The output was the same as before. The output of `xcrun --sdk macosx --show-sdk-path` is `/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX10.15.sdk` Finally, I made the change to ` /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/finkinfo/languages/python27.info` and ran the build again. This time it lasted much longer and, judging by the fact that no errors were shown at the end, I think the build was successful. <http://python27.info/> It would have been nice to get a confirmation message along the lines of “Congratulations, the installation of Terminator was successful”, but maybe I’ve just been spoiled by whizz-bang graphical macOS installers! I then tried trying to run `terminator` from the command-line. I received the message: `/sw/lib/python2.7/site-packages/gtk-2.0/gtk/__init__.py:57: GtkWarning: could not open display warnings.warn(str(e), _gtk.Warning) You need to run terminator in an X environment. Make sure $DISPLAY is properly set` I think this indicates that terminator did, indeed, build successfully, and that the message is just a configuration issue, which, quite frankly can wait until tomorrow to be addressed! Thanks for your help, Hanspeter! Fink build jobs: 8 1) You have a mismatch between Xcode.app and the command line tools. Do you still get this error after updating the command line tools to 11.3.1 ? 2) If you still get the error (the actual failure is with python27), there are reports that the problem is with the MacOSX10.14.sdk, but that was from a 10.15 user. https://github.com/fink/fink-distributions/issues/498#issuecomment-569372123 What's the output of `xcrun --sdk macosx --show-sdk-path` ? 3) Lastly, if you edit the file /sw/fink/dists/stable/main/finkinfo/languages/python27.info so that line #86 looks like this (lose the last -I flag): export CPPFLAGS="-I%p/include -I%p/include/ncursesw" Does that change fix the build?
