Hi Alexander, Thank you so much for the fast response! Currently the problem is solved, but in a tricky way. Before sending a message to the list I've tried to install automake, but it was a kind of broken. I used command "fink install automake" without a version number. Then there was an error message like: fink can't safely install ... use apt-get install ... instead I ran this suggested command and automake has been installed in a half broken state. There was aclocal-1.15 binary in /sw/bin, but there was no simple aclocal as link to it. Then I ran clean up and installed nmap, mtr-nox and lynx. I believe one of these packages had proper automake dependency, so automake has been installed in a proper way with a link. After it I just ran as usual "fink install wget" and it worked fine :) Best regards, Paully. > On Oct 16, 2017, at 18:51, Alexander Hansen <ale...@gm...> wrote: > > > >> On Oct 16, 2017, at 02:36, Pavel Ahafonau <pa...@ha...> wrote: >> >> The error message is attached as a screenshot. >> >> Fink (0.42.0) is configured with all default settings, except that binary packages are disabled. >> >> It is set to build everything from source. >> >> Best regards, >> Paully. >> > > 1) The package that failed is npth, so I changed the subject line so that people who see the same thing can search for it. wget is completely irrelevant here. > > 2) Don’t use screenshots.
