Hello all, I bit the bullet and decided to try reinstalling everything from scratch. After installing fink, reconfiguring for stable, and using update-all the first command I ran was sudo fink install maxima. I went with default options down the line, and gnome-icon-theme-2.28.0-1 fails to install. Here is the error that killed it: test -z "/sw/share/icons/gnome/8x8/emblems" || ../.././install-sh -c -d "/sw/src/fink.build/root-gnome-icon-theme-2.28.0-1/sw/share/icons/gnome/8x8/emblems" /usr/bin/install -c -m 644 emblem-default.png emblem-new.png emblem-readonly.png emblem-symbolic-link.png emblem-unreadable.png '/sw/src/fink.build/root-gnome-icon-theme-2.28.0-1/sw/share/icons/gnome/8x8/emblems' (cd /sw/src/fink.build/root-gnome-icon-theme-2.28.0-1/sw/share/icons/gnome/8x8 && /sw/sbin/icon-name-mapping -c emblems) dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: Symbol not found: _XML_ParserCreate_MM Referenced from: /sw/lib/perl5/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level/auto/XML/Parser/Expat/Expat.bundle Expected in: flat namespace dyld: Symbol not found: _XML_ParserCreate_MM Referenced from: /sw/lib/perl5/5.10.0/darwin-thread-multi-2level/auto/XML/Parser/Expat/Expat.bundle Expected in: flat namespace make[2]: *** [install-am] Error 2 make[1]: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 My /usr/local is moved out of the way, so it shouldn't be that (though it was there in the first compile attempt when the dependencies were compiled). Relevant version info: fink --version Package manager version: 0.29.13 Distribution version: selfupdate-rsync Mon Oct 11 22:44:36 2010, 10.6, x86_64 Thanks, Sean Lake |
