Hi, > The current version of alpine appears to require OpenSSL 0.9.8. Since > the system doesn't have that, the openssl dependency was switched to use > Fink's. that's what i can't understand (yet): if I compare the alpine.info files (cvs 1.8 and 1.14 corresponding to alpine-2.0-1 and -6) I see that the checksum for the tarballs have remained unchanged: Source-MD5: 84e44cbf71ed674800a5d57eed9c1c52 so eventhough 1.10 has the cvs-comment 'Alpine update' this seems not to refer to an upstream-update. Given, that alpine with cvs1.8-info _was_ using the system-openssl-library 097 [until a week ago] (and was working fine from my perspective), I'm wondering what has changed, that this doesn't work anymore? best sven |
