Considering I work for a company that writes monitoring software, I
intend to make sure that OpenNMS is capable of monitoring the things we
need it to do.  ;)

I've set up basic up/down monitoring of rsync on our demo box:

I'm gonna look into writing a proper rsync monitor for OpenNMS, as well.
