Sorry if ???'s bother you so much. I am assuming that the libs in=20 /usr/lib must be systems libraries. If not, then they must be leftover=20 from an attempt to use GentooOSX or DarwinPorts, but I could not say=20 which. Both installs should be cleared from this machine to the best of=20 my knowledge. In short, my questions are aimed at figuring out where the possible=20 sources of interference are.
