hi I write to this list because I think that here is people that have more knoweledge than me about using fink, and thats why I ask for help when something seem -at least to my eyes- to have a problem or when there is something I dont know how to solve because of my ignorance... certanly I have had very helpfull answers but I also have had silence... I only ask how can I install bundle-kde correctly...? Ive tried installing it several times several days and several mails... but seem that it 'doesnt want' to be installed... I still having problems... now it seem to be stucked in a loop... the next message have been printed for at least the last 3 hours after being aparently working right(I should mention again that this installation process have been taking about 3 days, with short stops of faliure and trying to install again): if g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I/sw/include -I/sw/include/qt -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/sw/include -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -I/sw/lib/flex/include -fno-common -no-cpp-precomp -DMACOSX -DARTS_NO_ALARM -I/sw/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -Os -Os -fPIC -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -MT configdlg.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/configdlg.Tpo" -c -o configdlg.o configdlg.cpp; \ then mv -f ".deps/configdlg.Tpo" ".deps/configdlg.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/configdlg.Tpo"; exit 1; fi if g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I/sw/include -I/sw/include/qt -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/sw/include -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -I/sw/lib/flex/include -fno-common -no-cpp-precomp -DMACOSX -DARTS_NO_ALARM -I/sw/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -Os -Os -fPIC -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -MT utils.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/utils.Tpo" -c -o utils.o utils.cpp; \ then mv -f ".deps/utils.Tpo" ".deps/utils.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/utils.Tpo"; exit 1; fi if g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I/sw/include -I/sw/include/qt -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/sw/include -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -I/sw/lib/flex/include -fno-common -no-cpp-precomp -DMACOSX -DARTS_NO_ALARM -I/sw/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -Os -Os -fPIC -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -MT fixcost.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/fixcost.Tpo" -c -o fixcost.o fixcost.cpp; \ then mv -f ".deps/fixcost.Tpo" ".deps/fixcost.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/fixcost.Tpo"; exit 1; fi if g++ -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I/sw/include -I/sw/include/qt -I/usr/X11R6/include -I/sw/include -DQT_THREAD_SUPPORT -I/sw/lib/flex/include -fno-common -no-cpp-precomp -DMACOSX -DARTS_NO_ALARM -I/sw/include -I/usr/X11R6/include -Wnon-virtual-dtor -Wno-long-long -Wundef -Wall -W -Wpointer-arith -Wwrite-strings -Os -Os -fPIC -fno-exceptions -fno-check-new -fno-common -DQT_CLEAN_NAMESPACE -DQT_NO_ASCII_CAST -DQT_NO_STL -DQT_NO_COMPAT -DQT_NO_TRANSLATION -MT traceitemview.o -MD -MP -MF ".deps/traceitemview.Tpo" -c -o traceitemview.o traceitemview.cpp; \ then mv -f ".deps/traceitemview.Tpo" ".deps/traceitemview.Po"; else rm -f ".deps/traceitemview.Tpo"; exit 1; fi /sw/bin/moc ./instrview.h -o instrview.moc etc... Sometimes it seem that 'it start to move' out from this kind of loop, but then goes back to the same... the 'part' of the package that is being compiled when this happen is 'am'(at least thats what fink comander says 'compiling am') i will keep looking at this thing, so if something happens(perhaps geting isntalled..hope..) I'll inform u(if its ok for u....), I dont even know if Im right when thinking that it is a 'strange' behavior... Sorry for the abundance of words... perhaps not too usefull, please just tell me what do you need to know... what can I do and if you can help me... regards sincerely Ivan E.Y. _________________________________________________________________ MSN.
