Worked like a charm -- thanks. Same thing also worked for LWP -- I was able to make a system-libwww-pm file that skipped over that dependency. The only glitch at that point was that the modules Fink installed were placed into a directory that wasn't in Perl's @INC path, but for now I just got around this by symlinking in the new Fink directories over to /Library/Perl -- no problems now :) So, would it make any sense to have system-$foo-pm libraries for many or all of the modules that Perl is shipped with by default, or is that just overkill? In any event, the original dependencies have all been resolved now, and Gnucash is busily 'make'ing in another window. Soon I'll get to find out if it was worth all the trouble :) If nothing else, I learned more about how Fink works, so I think it was worth it... -- Chris Devers chd...@ne...
