#1429 mod-python 3.3.1-1 install broken

libapache2-mod-python-py24-3.3.1-1

Changes the name two files

1. the loadable module become mod_python2.4.so
2. the apache load file becomes python2.4.load

These used to be mod_python.so and python.load

The installer does not warn of this change.

Nor does it disable to old python.load file - to be replaced with the new python2.4.load file

So when apache is restarted we get this error:

Cannot load /sw/lib/apache2/modules/mod_python.so into server: cannot create object file image or add library

Did you try to contact the maintainer of this package? It is
normally most effective to contact the package maintainer via
