Hello there. Metamorphose is a wonderful tool I use every day. The version 2 with action we must activate before is very clunky. By chance thee's configuration we can save but can we loas a config at start of Metamoprhose? Thanks

How can I replace the multiple occurence of e.g. parentheses in a filename ? example: aaaaaa_(xxxx - 123) 12345_bbbbb - (yyyy - 456) ccccc.txt want rename to: aaaaaa_ 12345_bbbbb - ccccc.txt so far I used replace between "(" and " )" followed bt replace "()" result: aaaaaa_ 12345_bbbbb - (yyyy - 456) ccccc.txt then I have to do the same procedure again. Is there a way to remove both parantheses in a single run ? thanks wally

This post is 8-months old & I don't actually have a solution to offer presently. That said, I do believe I know what the issue is (or likely may be) and am aware of some possible solutions on the Linux platform. Since this project offers a unique combination of capabilities (discrete ordered operations + exif & audio tag support + undo, etc.) that aren't available in alternatives that I'm aware of (on Linux: Gprename/pyRenamer/etc); I'm going to ignore the usual etiquette and risk a little spamming....

Even though this post is 8-months old, I'm ignoring the usual etiquette since this project seems to be: 1) unique—offering features not available in any other app that I'm aware of and 2) semi-abandoned. Lastly I'm coming from Linux and don't actually know anything or have any relevant expertise … I'm just speculating. All that said, I've been trying to get metamorphose working on my own machine and believe the issue is that metamorphose depends on a particular (old) version of the wxPython widget...
