#50 Application pauses during windows lock/drag&drop issue

Greetings,

This might be already widely known issue, but I would appreciate if you consider a fix for it.

Environment: Windows 10 Pro

Whenever you're encoding, the app will use cpu. Now since windows briefly suspends cpu usage for any application during lock screen, the encoding will simply completely pause until windows gets unlocked and then resume at same percentage it was locked at.
Counter for time doesn't pause.

Now, a workaround for that is to run the app as Administrator, which is fine really, making (shortcut - properties - advanced - run as admin), but again application no longer accepts drag-and-drop files when its run as admin, have to use manual picking using the + button.

Hi, have you tried enabling "prevent computer from going to sleep?

Hi, I haven't tried that option.

However, I think its not that my pc goes to sleep automatically, since I've torrents and other online games in background running as well, so don't think its related.

This cpu suspension thing isn't only about this application, for many other apps as well, solved by running as administrator.

What I would like to have is drag & drop feature to work when running this app as administrator, since it doesn't.

Not much to do about that, it's not an issue, it's a Windows feature, it is not possible to drop files from a lower priviledges application to a higher one. If you open notepad as admin, you won't be able to drag and drop files on it.

You would need to kill explorer.exe and run it as admin from task manager, in order to regain drag and drop feature to the application running as admin.

Guess I'll just stick to manual adding files then.
