.xa (adpcm_xa) files can not be parsed, and hang when attempting to encode

I've tried with latest ffmpeg and mediainfo. Since file duration cannot be obtained by either of them, progress cannot be displayed. But encoding is performed successfully in all my tests. It should work like command line, given enough time.

I could encode this file to mp3, it did not hang, but it is true it does not display progress. Which ffmpeg parameters did you use?

May I have some xa sample for testing?

I'm not sure about the issue, sometimes settings are not upgraded after new releases, and ffmpg.exe path reverts to default applicatio path. I made a new change in code to fix it, but no further versiones are expected in the near future. Thanks for the report.

Thanks for your words, it's been years of developmend, feedback and refinement, I hope it keeps on working for a long time. . Good to know you found out the external cause, let's hope for a fix or a workaround.
