You can't read feeds this way. :o( - deleted Toolbarsettings.bin - headlines.xml is emptied - checked feeds / subscriptions in IE but it gives no errors. because there is no 'save state now' button, I do close FR after some dozen blogs read. if it is still fetching and tries to close itself, it does interfere with itself (or at least this is what it seems like). or just make it stop first and then try to close it. :o) Nicole -- http://www.useful-sounds.de/ - http://beissholz.de |

Hi list. I've build a new version: http://www.khoffrath.de/projects/feedreader No new features, just code to find the problem when feedreader 'runs' through all feeds and changes the feed icons to the globe with the red cross. If you have the described problem, please please go to the properties and enable "Show XMLParser errors" on the general tab. If FR comes up with a error message mail me a screenshot offlist. Thank you. Karsten |

It's a little bit more complicated. I really could not make it to this version. But i think we should not leave out opml from release only because of this. I tested the OPML export in the last version. Shouldn`t it preserve the folder in which the feeds are? Now i get only a list of feeds, without the folders. |

(Toomas can you *please* set this list as not-html!) >Can you please give me the problematic url. Or describe situation more. >I really could finish this opml thing before release. >In my own case everything about opml works. Made an export from Feedreader. Used import, set filename, press display available feeds, nothing happens. version 630 btw we should publish this as beta not as release. in the meantime I had to remove bodys from my entries 4-5 times otherwise I would have this 'mark everything read' again. A 'purge all bodies but keep headlines' function could prevent this for the moment. Nicole -- http://www.useful-sounds.de/ - http://beissholz.de |

As I look at source, this "bug" should be fixed already some weeks ago. Try it again, please :) At least in my case it works. Toomas Toots wrote: > Ouchh... yep, you're right. I have my feeds organized in folders except one feed. When i try to export to opml the following opml is created: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?> <opml version="1.0"> <head></head> <body> <outline text="News" xmlUrl="" type="rss" version="RSS"></outline> <outline text="Computer" xmlUrl="" type="rss" version="RSS"></outline> <outline text="Open Source" xmlUrl="" type="rss" version="RSS"></outline> <outline text="Testfeeds" xmlUrl="" type="rss" version="RSS"></outline> <outline text="Break FeedReader" xmlUrl="http://www.daliblume.com/ThrowMeAway/index.xml" type="rss" version="RSS"></outline> <outline text="OSNews" xmlUrl="http://www.osnews.com/files/recent.rdf" type="rss" version="RSS"></outline> <outline text="DeveloperWorks" xmlUrl="" type="rss" version="RSS"></outline> </body> </opml> As you can see the feeds in the folders are missing. |
