Cadê a crise?

I don't know what to do; it may so= und a stupid question but I really don't know how to do it and I want to = have the "overview" back... Any help appreciate. Thanks, Lucas J. |

What about an option to disable/hide the preview panel? I prefer use an external browser to read feeds. I started to use Feedreader and seems very good. Hello! There were quite a lot bugs from older version added in sourceforge. Now we fixed those bugs and also feature requests and put them to 2.90. So 2.90 should have less bugs and more features than 2.80. And it's available for testing NOW! What has changed? *Support for flaging articles *Filter support has gotten a lot more powerful (still much to do to get it to decent level) *search box moved to better place *support for searching articles by flags *Feedreader Webaccess is skinnable. *Possibility to limit Feedreader WebAccess to some feeds *Better favicon support *Possibility to pause Feedreader update process. *Custom notification sound support. *Delete support fo items in listview *Copy to folder functionality changed. *GREATEST THING IN MY OPINION: "Show only new headlines then selecting folder". Enable this in Feedreader properties and look what happens, if you select folder. Where to get it? http://www.feedreader.com/releases/FeedReader290RC1Setup.exe Where should I report bugs? Please report bugs in this thread. And ONLY bugs not feature requests. |

Hi! Some minutes age new version of FR source was put on CVS. Now FR uses TWebbrowser. It includes some more enchangements besides this. Greetings Toomas Marc wrote: >you don't? twebbrowser would be cool. if that is done the job to implement gekko is also done ;-) >i know a little tool exists with can replace the IE-guid references for its activex with the gekko-guid just within the final exe. in addition one could also replace the twebbrowser with the the gekko control itself right in the delphi ide itself (after importing the gekko active x). the api is compatible with twebbrowser. so, if you replace the tembeddedwebbrowser i could have a try with gekko ;-) > >cheers, marc > > > >> >> |

Firefox wants to have only one 1.44Mb file in Feedreader directory. Nothing more to put in feedreader installation package. At the moment I have implemented a custom module "bayesian filters" using firefox database and it works flawlessly. Another good thing with firefox is that if we need, it's easy to develop client server application. There can be some usage for this in corporate enviroment for example. Is there much done with the IE DOM? thats what i thought. not the dom stuff. as far as i know the differences between the TWebBrowser and the TEmbeddedWB is that the later offers more features that are using DOM access internally. but i am not sure how many of these DOM features where used by feedreader. as toomas wrote feedreader doesn't use any of them we maybe do not need DOM access so the way to gekko should be easy. cheers, marc |

The Gekko ActiveX is compatible at the ActiveX level, but not compatible at the DOM level. Is there much done with the IE DOM? I am wondering if Firefox might be a little overkill for this, especially considering the deployment foot print. Maybe we should look at using DBISAM. It would be perfect for a project like this.=20 They even have full text indexing for improved searching. I know they have donated licenses to other open source projects so it might be worth a try. Get licenses for the key developers, and then anyone else can use the Trial version which has a nag dialog when ran outside the IDE. I guess it comes down to how many people are building their own versions instead of just downloading the prebuilt releases. you don't? twebbrowser would be cool. if that is done the job to implement gekko is also done ;-) i know a little tool exists with can replace the IE-guid references for its activex with the gekko-guid just within the final exe. in addition one could also replace the twebbrowser with the the gekko control itself right in the delphi ide itself (after importing the gekko active x). the api is compatible with twebbrowser. so, if you replace the tembeddedwebbrowser i could have a try with gekko ;-) cheers, marc ----- Original Message ----- From: Toomas Toots <to...@i-...> To: fee...@li... hello toomas, the biggest issue for me ist the IE control. this a security risk that I'd like to remove. so if you can put "alternativly use the gekko-activex to render html" on the todo list i would be really happy. i tried it some time before. the problem is that you used the embedde-ie control instead the normal ie-control shiped with delphi. the gekko-activex is compatible with the regular control of delphi but not with the embedded. so accessing the dom is one thing i don't know how much is already supported by the gekko-control. in this area some testing / research needs to be done as this stuff is used by the embedded-control to directly load html-source into the control (without the need of a temporary file). regards, marc ----- Original Message ----- From: Toomas Toots <to...@i-...> To: fee...@li...
