The plots display FACS data.

Plot type description
dot plot In dot plots, each event is painted as a dot on an 2D-grid with parameters of the events used as x- and y-axis. The color of the events may be based on the gate containing the event, the gate applied to the plot, or a user-defined color. See Format Plot/Overlays for more.
Density plot A density plot displays the events of a data file in a 2D plot like dot plots. However, the events are colored according to the density of a parameter (usually Event Count) at a given x/y point. The density colors can be defined by the user or be based on the color of the applied gate (see overlays for more on color options).
histogram plot In the histogram plot, a parameter defines the x-axis and the y-axis displays the number of events with the respective parameter value. For more on coloring and scaling histograms, see Format Plot/Overlays
