I have an old .deb file from when I was messing around with Mike Tyson's Punch Out. When I try to play that game, FCEUX crashes. If I rename or delete the .deb file, it works fine.
Should I post the .deb file in question for analysis?
for some reason, nobody ever thought to put a version number in it. I don't think we're going to make a systematic effort to load old .deb files, so using this as a test case of an old file for that feature is not needed. However, if you need to recover that data, then if you post it I'll make an effort to wedge in a way to import it, and upgrade the file format with a version number at the same time
