Anatoly,
Thanks for sorting out compiling of Fbpanel 6.0 in Puppy Linux.
My latest build, codenamed "Quirky 018" has Fbpanel and Openbox, announced here:

If you want to try it, the live-CD is only 102MB. It is also easy to
compile source while running from the live-CD, without having to do an
installation of Puppy.
The thing I want to ask about is the menu. My experience is, and the
testers are reporting the same thing, considerable difficulty with
using the menu.
When we click on the menu button, the menu pops up, but then it
disappears too easily.
The behaviour is inconsistent. Sometimes, I click on the menu button,
then move the mouse pointer upward an inch or two into the top-level
menu -- but the menu then immediately disappears. Most of the time it
stays, but it will disappear unexpectedly as I move the pointer around
within the menu.
There also seems to be a timeout, of about 15 seconds. This is
different from the above problem (where the menu can disappear much
sooner). The timeout is a problem as the user might need much more
time to decide on what to choose.
What we really want is no timeout, the menu should stay there as long
as the mouse pointer is within the menu.
Is there an easy way we could hack the code to fix this? Or, could you
please fix it?
Regards,
Barry Kauler
