[fbpanel] genmon output multiple lines

Hello,
is it possible to output more than one line with genmon plugin?
I tried some commands but only the first line is displayed.

I'd like to bring this back up.  David, is this possible?  Is this a
feature you'd be interested in implementing?

I love this plugin so much that I've been using it since it was first
given.  It's been the only way for me to have a simple date+time.  I'm
going to ask for it to be packaged in with fbpanel for my
distribution, but I'd still to have this included by default with
fbpanel.
