Is there a "framework" to tweak the UI beside the source code?

I don't think i 'm skilled enough to compile the code myself, (besides it requires VS2013 which i just can not find) is there any way i can tweak the ui in another way? What i would like to do is to enable/disable specific module when i launch another application on windows (like a video player)

What do you mean by modules?

Depends on what you mean but there's this config.txt (+ included files) you can fully control the EQ system (i.e. do you need to see the GUI there?).

Firstable thank you because i didn't think about looking into the config file....

I am sorry my question was badly formulated. What i needed was a way to turn a VST plugging ON or OFF using another external C++ program i made.

After reading more about the configuration files, and testing it directly, the way to do it was to write directly to the config.txt file(s) and on save, the changes are reflected in EqualizerAPO at runtime.

Thanks again for your input Juha.
