The removal of execution data from the Foomatic database in the case that the driver package has execution data and/or PPDs is intended to make the packaging for the distros easier. One can always assume that the data coming with the driver is in sync with the driver version, the data on the Foomatic site can be outdated when the driver development went on without the driver author giving any notification to us. So it is always recommended to install the Foomatic data or PPDs which come with the driver. So distro packages should contain this data, but they should not conflict with foomatic-db. Therefore foomatic-db should not contain this data. So you should upload only printer entries to the BZR repositories of foomatic-db and add them to the driver entry which is there (and which has an empty command line prototype, so it does not generate PPDs). Update driver and option XML files with driver execution info in your package. For getting upload access again, try at first whether you can og in into the MediaWiki of the FSG web site with the user name and password which you had formerly on linuxprinting.org. If it does not work, register with your user name. If the user name is already in use, try the "forgotten password" function of the MediaWiki. As you are logged in on MediaWiki, tell me your user name and CC Jeff Licquia (jeff at licquia dot org) in that mail, so that he sets up write access to our Bazaar repositories for you (we have replaced CVS by Bazaar). See http://www.freestandards.org/en/OpenPrinting/Database/InstructionsForContributors for how to use our Bazaar repositories.
