This is a CUPS question. You need to create a new print-quene which does raw pass-throughs. On lpr/lprng-based system raw pass-through is the default (it is on my system), unless one configures the filtering systems. Please read your CUPS documentation. Most probably when you create a new printe queue under CUPS, there is a "raw" option for "what driver to use".
