#1 Username/Password-based

Hi,

would be great to implement a username/password-
combinated login-management. This way a user only had
to store the login-data and could see all old tickets
in the database after logging in. Hence the need for a
ticket-retrieval could become obsolete and the system
only had to send out the username/password-combination
to the registered email-adress once again on user-
request.

Thanks for that suggestion. It has been brought up before
already. Although version 1.1 may not include this feature,
the next major release, version 2.0, will be based on a user
management system named LUMOS, which is part of a bigger
project which is due to complete soon. With the support of
LUMOS, everything will become much easier to handle as there
will be a central administration system for non-staff as
well as staff members.

The estimated time for release of 1.1 is around one week
from today, while for 2.0 is around three weeks from today.
