Hello, As far as I know, editing the Makefile is not necessary anymore with the new versions of Zebra. Make sure that you have the latest version from the Indexdata homepage, and then follow the instructions found at: http://www.emilda.org/node/74 A special FAQ has been set up regarding this question; its done on Debian, but the dependencies indicate what is needed and the order of commands to compile are exactly identical on both. If you, however are still experiencing problems, drop a note.
