Desktop Software

First get the eHZy desktop software for your platform from the Downloads page. You'll need a current Java Runtime Environment (JRE) to run it as well. Note that the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the software apply to your JRE installation, not necessarily your operating system. If there is no version for your target operating system, please file a Ticket. At the moment, archives are provided only for platforms that are known to be used. Alternatively, you might try to build the software from scratch - it's not that hard.

Start the software and set some preferences first. On Mac OS X, you can find this in the eHZy menu. Select eHZy on the left-hand side. Check the date format and enter the name or IP address of the SMTP server to send the messages. Then select Mail Template on the left-hand side below. Enter a sender address and the templates to generate the message subject and text.
You can use the following placeholders in the subject and body templates:

Placeholer	Description
${meter_id}	the ID of the meter
${meter_desc}	the description of the meter
${rec_salutation}	the salutation entered for each recipient
${readout_value}	the total consumption from the latest readout
${readout_date}	the date and time of the readout

Now use File - New... to create a new data file. This will also create an empty project. Then select File - Import SML Files... to read the data files collected on the SD card. This will create a default location and a list of meters below it. You can select each meter and assign it a human-readable description now.

You can also right-click on the project, select New Child - Location to create a new location besides the default location and move the meters to the new location by dragging them over. When you repeat the importing process at a later time, eHZy will locate the meter objects regardless of their placement in the tree using their built-in ID.

Now, right-click a meter and select New Child - Recipient. Fill in the recipient data (address, name and salutation). You will notice that the new recipient also appears in the Pending Notifications list because there is a readout available that Mr. Test was not yes informed about. You can now right-click the recipient either in the tree or in the Pending Notifications list and choose Send Message....

Kann nicht auf die eHZy desktop SW zugreifen (auf https://sourceforge.net/p/ehzy/wiki/Software/ gibt es stets eine Fehlermeldung) , wo kann ich die runterladen ? Wo gibt es eine Anleitung ?

danke, dennoch habe ich ein paar Schwierigkeiten.  Wie kann ich die SW starten ?

Neu bauen und Zugriff auf SW hat auch nicht funktioniert, und zwar wenn ich auf den Link http://sourceforge.net/p/ehzy/wiki/Development%20Startup gehe kommt der Fehler:
"Error 403 Create access required".

Gibt es weitere Hinweise ?
